2. Captain America Sam Wilson Vol. 2: Standoff

This 168-page paperback features Sam Wilson Captain America getting adjusted to his role as the Sentinel of Liberty. As Wilson investigates an evil plot emerging in a small town called Pleasant Hill he finds out he needs help. So, Sam Wilson is aided by Steve Rogers and Bucky Barnes as they deal with the threat in Pleasant Hill.

3. Captain America Sam Wilson Vol. 3: Civil War II

This 112-page paperback collects issues #9 through 13. After the events of Vol. 2, Steve Rogers once again assumes the mantle of Captain America. An online cyber-hate campaign is launched demanding that Sam Wilson relinquish the Captain America title.

The AmeriCops is a right-wing militia self-tasked with policing superheroes they deem not American enough. 6. Captain America Sam Wilson 5: End of the Line

This 112-page paperback collects issues #19 through 22 of this series. In the aftermath of Rage’s arrest and brutal treatment, Sam Wilson starts contemplating whether or not he should continue as Captain America. This volume also ties into the start of the Secret Empire storyline.

8. Captain America Symbol of Truth Vol. 1: Homeland

Sam gets into conflict with T’Challa regarding geo-politics. This storyline also features Deadpool and Dr. Doom.

After the fallout of Sam’s conflict with Wakanda in the previous volume, Sam is tasked with protecting a politician from the African country of Mohannda. The villain White Wolf shows up with a plot involving Sam and Mohannda. After his partner, the New Falcon, is temporarily sidelined, Sam is partnered with Nomad, the son of Steve Rogers.

10. Falcon and Winter Soldier: Cut Off One Head

The leader of the New Hydra is assassinating government agents. One of them tried to take out Bucky. This series was published in the aftermath of the Disney+ show of the same name.
